Admiral Nurse attends Alzheimer's Europe Conference

In October this year, our Forget Me Not Admiral Nurse Jeanette Hogg attended the Alzheimer's Europe Conference in Bucharest. 

Jeanette had a great time there and learnt many useful bits of information to assist her with her service:

  • Digital health tools for preventing dementia and linking it to cardiovascular health.

  • Advance Care Plan website with information, tips on how to communicate with people living with dementia about ACP, videos and interactive tools for ACP.

  • Long term impact of pandemic on dementia carers

  • increasing awareness of dementia prevention

  • sport in dementia

  • Advances in Artificial Intelligence to support people living with dementia
